I Love You Infinity Times Infinity

Monday, November 18, 2013

Every year around this time (and sometimes a few months earlier if I'm really organized) I begin making a list and thinking about what I want to either make or purchase for each person on my Christmas gift list. I'm a big believer in sticking to a budget so I write out the names of each recipient and break down the value of their total gifts based on what I have to work with that particular year. Then, I decide if I'm going to get one larger gift or a few smaller gifts and write some ideas that come to mind for each person based on their needs, wants and what they like. My favorite gifts to give are those that are meaningful and will be used or enjoyed over and over again.

Certain people are harder to shop for than others but when it comes to the important ladies in your life, such as your mom, sister, best friend or daughter, I don't know of a single woman who doesn't appreciate a quality piece of jewelry in a timeless design. :) Jewelry is something that I personally get excited to receive. Most people will buy themselves clothes, fashion jewelry, perfume and other accessories but hesitate when it comes to buying fine jewelry as they typically can't justify spending on themselves in this manner, so a gift like this is always a winner!

Helzberg Diamonds recently contacted me to share their newest INFINITY X INFINITY jewelry collection with me since they know I enjoy curating classy holiday gift guides, and I'm so glad they did! I've long been a fan of the infinity symbol on jewelry and it has become increasingly more popular over the last couple years making for a beautiful and meaningful gift for a variety of occasions. What's neat is that this exclusive collection was inspired by ABCs hit tv series "Revenge" and lead character Emily Thorne and her father's mantra, "I love you infinity times infinity." Do any of you watch the show? These pieces are the perfect way to celebrate your infinite love and make someone special sparkle this holiday season and for years to come!

Created by award-winning jewelry designer Udi Behr, the collection emphasizes the double infinity insignia, symbolizing infinite love, and, with an elegant collection starting from just $49.99, it offers the perfect gift on any budget this holiday season. There are 44 infinity jewelry designs in all, including bracelets as well as rings. How gorgeous are these diamond-encrusted sparklers below? This necklace and earring set are my favorites of their entire collection-they are stunning and so versatile.

Here are their Top 3 Best Sellers of the INFINITY X INFINITY collection which are each under $100.

Wednesday, December 12, 2012

In the spirit of the 12 days of Christmas and with just twelve shopping days left until Christmas Eve, I am starting the first installment of a short series of  fabulous gift ideas for the loved ones in your life!

If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed and at a loss for creative gifts that the ladies in your life will not only love but will actually use, I've featured 12 hand selected which are classy, elegant and practical. These gifts are in the $50-100 range and are fool-proof because you don't need to know specific measurements, so they'll be keepers. :)

These gift ideas would all make such a lovely treat for a hardworking woman who only tends to buy the necessities and doesn't indulge much in the luxuries, pamper her and make her feel special! I personally own the White pearl Fossil watch and the brown Tory Burch Card case and I use them all the time and love them as bits of affordable luxury. :)

Which would you like to open on Christmas morning? What unique gifts are you finding for the ladies in your life? I'd love to hear from you in the comments!

Fashion Friday: Stylish + Affordable Jewelry

Friday, November 9, 2012

We're back with another Fashion Friday post, the series that you inspired after hearing from many of you that you'd like to see more classy fashion pieces and learn what to wear, how to wear it and more. For me, no outfit is complete without jewelry. I feel naked without a pair of earrings, my wedding rings and either a watch or bracelet. I wanted to share two of my favorite online shops for jewelry that are stylish, affordable and are pieces you'd own for years to come. I like pieces that last and by trial and error I've discovered which shops sell pieces that hold up in the long run vs. those that don't. I'm a huge fan of Stella & Dot and so are many celebrities, their pieces are worn regularly by all of your favorite stars and showcased in all the top fashion magazines. All of their pieces arrive in the most beautiful boxes too (just scroll down to the end of this post to see what I mean). The Kirra Tate collection found via the Layla Grayce shop is also another great line, I am continually amazed by the reasonable prices they offer for such gorgeous pieces! Layla Grayce just redesigned their whole website and it looks more fresh than ever, adding customer reviews so now it's easier than ever to shop for everyone on your list!

Between the two companies, here's a breakdown of what you can find at the following price points: Under $30, Under $40 and Under $50. While $50 may seem steep to some, I believe you get what you pay for. Like my wardrobe, I want to invest in accessory pieces that won't break, chip or fall apart months down the road. Through wearing different jewelry you can change the look of current outfits. I love all of these because they provide a pretty pop of color and/or fun design. These are all perfect as we move into the festive season with holiday parties and events just around the corner. Maybe you'll also get some gift ideas too for the special women in your life!

On My Wish List....

{Left to Right Row 2}: blue & gold bangle  /  feather cuff  /  black & gold bangle

I really adore each and every one of these 21 pieces I've compiled here and many of them are on my immediate wish list and a few are on my Christmas shopping list for others too. :)

Which piece is your favorite? Have you shopped Layla Grayce or Stella & Dot before and own a piece you love? Leave us a comment and gush about it! :)

Psst...If you missed the previous installments of the Fashion Friday Series, you can read them in order {here}:  1, 2, 3, 4.

Steals & Deals: Christmas Gift Ideas!

Wednesday, October 24, 2012

I know, I know, the title probably has you thinking-'Christmas posts already? It's still October, we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet!"  I'm not sure what's gotten into me this year, I've really been on the ball and really organized when it comes to all things Christmas 2012. Over a week ago I ordered our Christmas cards to send to family and friends along with some cute return address labels and some fun, personalized gift tags. It all began when I stumbled upon a $40 off $40 or more purchase that expired the very same day which prompted my early bird initiatives. I wasn't sure what to expect quality-wise but the cards arrived in the mail yesterday and I couldn't be more excited about them. Once I've mailed them out, I'll share this year's creation here with you.

Being organized just makes me feel good and it also opens up a lot of free time during the holidays to just enjoy family and fun parties and events without feeling stressed out. In the spirit of tackling things early and getting great deals, I wanted to share a few of my favorite deals and creative, original gift ideas to make the shopping experience a little easier for you this year! Here's a list of 5 ideas I'm loving right now:

1. Ink Garden- They are a website which offers lots of customized items for a fraction of other online shops and I just love all the neat ideas they have-monogrammed or personalized items are the perfect gift that special someone who seems to have everything! My top three favorites of the moment are shown above.   Their $2 custom travel mug, you save $12.99, use code: TMUG2 ends 11/15/.  The $5 personalized pillow case is just too good to pass up, use code: PILLOW5 ends: 11/15. They're also offering 50% off of any holiday item with code: HOLIDAY50 which is good on all holiday cards, ornaments, calendars and more until 12/15!

2. Blurb- If you love personalized photo books, you're going to love Blurb. Their high-quality books capture all of your favorite moment. They've even added a tool that allows you to upload your Instagram or Facebook photos so that you can create books with ease. Why not make a book of this year's Instagram photos? It's also a great way to document your travels, capture your wedding day in a professional looking manner or even put together the first year of your babies life. These make great gifts for parents and grandparents! Make it once and order multiple copies for family. Right now you can save 15% off of all Blurb books here.

3. One King's Lane- If you've never heard of them before, they're a store that showcases all things home. They run daily offerings on special collections of furniture and home decor accessories at steep discounts. Their ever-changing merchandise offers fresh items for your space. They also just launched Gifts for Little Ones today which has some super cute goods. Starting today, OKL is launching multiple sales on the most adorable must-haves. But don't take my word for it, go take a look here for yourself. Sign up today and get a $15 credit towards purchases of $30 or more! They have great gifts for every home, which makes them an excellent choice for holiday gifts. They have some affordable, lovely wreaths up for grabs right now.

4. Layla Grayce- This happens to be one of my favorite online shops, particularly for gift giving . They offer everything from jewelry, home decor accessories, baby items, women's clothing, travel accessories and dishware. Above are a few of my favorite items for the female friends in my life. In honor of their 8th Anniversary, until Oct.30th they'll give you 20% off your purchase using code: LGTURNS8. Take advantage of the sale and visit their website to see what goodies you can find for your family and friends!

5. Stella & Dot - If you're looking for gorgeous, stylish well-made jewelry pieces for the ladies in your life (or maybe even yourself) then I highly recommend Stella & Dot pieces. I got my first silver bangle from them several months ago and couldn't have been more happy with not only the piece but the gorgeous box it came inside-they really know how to make a gift presentable.

What's even better is they offer women the ability to turn their passion into income by becoming a stylist. Just until the end of October, when you sign up you get $650 worth of jewelry for just $199! If you want to choose your own pieces they'll let you select $450 of what you like best! That alone is worth signing up for. You could use many of the pieces as gifts and keep some for yourself too. Plus, they give you all the materials you need to run a successful accessory business. I just thought this was a clever way of not only earning money for your gifts but having some instant Christmas gifts too! Hurry, it runs for just one more week, take advantage of this great offer!
